Donation without PayPal account

I would like to know if there is a way to have the option to pay without creating PayPal account.

No, both the free and pro version require a PayPal account.

When I looked at your pro version the first “example 1” doesn’t require to create PayPal account when you choose pay with credit card option.

A PayPal account is required to accept payments as a seller, which is what I thought your question was asking.

As a customer, PayPal almost always requires an account. Sometimes it doesn’t, but that is not standardized and is limited to specific countries.

Of course, I understand the PayPal is required for the seller (receiver). I was only concerned about the customer side. Not all customers who would like to donate have PayPal accounts and wanted to donate with credit card only. When I tested your pro demo I noticed that (Example 1) has it the way I wanted. But the free donation button force the customer to create the PayPal account. As far as the country goes I’m talking about US.

I’ve been building plugins with PayPal for over 5 years now. A few years ago PayPal didn’t use to require an account at checkout. However now, it seems to be completely random. In addition to this, Sandbox seems to be a bit more relaxed then actual production PayPal. But I wouldn’t rely on this as a requirement for sales.
