Donation meter and gravity forms e-way

  • Hi,

    I’d like to first congratulate you on such an outstanding plugin. Very effective and efficient.

    My name is Fawaz and I’m a communications officer at a international charity in Australia called Islamic Relief Australia (https://islamic-relief.com.au).

    For the past year or so, we’ve been collecting donations and orphan sponsorship payments using Gravity Forms E-Way on WordPress and now we’re running a campaign called ‘Hike for Humanity’ to collect donations for refugees in hostile places around the world (https://islamic-relief.com.au/2686/hike-4-humanity-information-pack/).

    The idea of this campaign, is individual challengers will need to raise at least $1000AUD in order to trek the highest mountain in Australia, Mt Kosciusko.

    So we’ve installed a donation meter that doesn’t update unless done manually through the dashboard.

    My question is, can we integrate a live donation form with GF E-way to automatically update the donation meter ?

    Would love to get a question answer thanks. As we’re already running the campaign.

    G’day Fawaz,

    If you’re still using the (unreleased) plugin Progress for your progress bar, then it’s the one that I wrote for Islamic Relief Australia. It’s easy enough to write a small plugin that watches for new entries in Gravity Forms and updates the Current Amount of an associated Target. Ask Mohammad K. to pass the details on to me and I’ll sort you out.
