Hello there!
I’m usually good at troubleshooting issues, but I’m kinda lost on this one.

When I add an offline donation, the amount is shown correctly in the backend, but as I change the status from Pending to Completed, this happens:

(please note that the dot and comma position is correctly setup in settings the Italian way, with the dot for thousands and the comma for decimals.)

What’s weird is that this seem to be a problem in the backend, but on the frontend the numbers appear correctly…
I noticed this already while the website was in development, but since it appeared to work correctly on the frontend I didn’t give it too much thought.

I had a problem now though, with one form total amount being reset, so I would like to know your opinion to this issue. Thanks a lot!

Hi @kiwidesign

A couple things stand out to me with that issue:

1) We had some issues with currencies that use commas as the decimal separator. But they should all be resolved in the latest version. So please make sure you’re running version 1.8.16 and then go to “Donations > Updates” and make sure you’ve updated your database correctly too — if you don’t see “Donations > Updates” then you should be fine.

2) After you ensure that, go to “Donations > Tools > Data” and use the recalculation tools to recalculate EVERYTHING.

Hello @webdevmattcrom @dlocc I updated the plugin to the latest version (I was a few versions behind) and Recalculated everything… and that was the outcome.

As you can see in the first two screenshots, after recalculating everything, all forms now “see” zero donations.

The donations are of course still there, as you can see in the last screenshot. Moreover, the donations amount were still messed up after Recalculation… the amounts marked with the red square I didn’t touch after Recalculation (they were initially input as €1205 and €835) while the ones marked in green I manually changed to the right amount AFTER recalculation, but they still don’t show up in their respective forms.

What am I supposed to do, besides making NEW donations to match those that don’t show up? ??

Hey @kiwidesign – there’s a bug in our current version with the recalculate all forms tool. I’ve resolved that and a fix will be out in 1.8.17 shortly. Thanks for the thorough follow up and let me know if you have anymore questions!
