Donation amount field doesn’t accept input

I’ve created a donation form.
It displays without errors. When the page hosting it loads, no errors show in console.
The donation amount field displays ‘0’ by default.
The field doesn’t respond to clicks or input.
If a user clicks on the field, the field doesn’t become active. The ‘0’ remains.
What could be happening?
