Donate Plus not working – please help me!

  • Help!
    Ive found this plugin, Donate Plus, and I LOVE It.
    It does EXACTLY what I need, but it doesn’t function correcly ??

    Ive done HEAPS of research on the internet, and found hundreds of people in the same boat as me, but no resolve posts.

    Ive turned on IPN in paypal, and although the donation is processed fine, the user does not get the thankyou email, nor does anything appear on the Recognition wall.

    Failing resolving issues with this plugin, anyone know another similar one that has a recognition wall?

    Only progress I am making is I have now managed to get the IPN to send out the email to the donator saying thank you… but it doesn’t update it anywhere on the donate wall, or in the DB.

    Anyone?

    Just got it working. Turns out it was my fault for using another plugin before that had made a WP_donations table already… once I deleted that and reactivated the plugin it built the table fine!

    Please help me get mine to work!! What else did you do? Ive deleted all other plugins etc but still no email gets sent to the donator, and recognition wall doesnt work!

    still getting “FATAL ERROR No Reply at all” emails too ??

    Got mine to work ‘better’.

    changed port line as per some other forums:
    $port = fsockopen (‘ssl://www.paypal.com’, 443, $errno, $errstr, 30);

    so now the donation is fine, the donation counter works, the recognition wall works – but only sort of! The name, amount donated works, but the comments are blank!

    Having exactly the same issue as first post, was there ever a resolution? looks like the developer simply doesn’t care
