domain.com/?attachment_id=NUM

  • I just installed this plugin. I went to an existing Media file and clicked the Add to Protected button. The file was automatically moved to the uploads/_mediavault folder. I set it so only Admin users can access it.

    I logged out of my account. I then went to mydomain.com/?attachment_id=NUM where NUM is the attachment id. I could go to the page and download the file without a problem, which is obviously an issue.

    What did I do wrong?

    I just tested that scenario and noticed that the attachment page loads, as you’ve mentioned, but I cannot download or view the protected file without the proper permissions.
