I have the latest version of WordPress and the latest version of woocommerce on my website. For some reason recently when I go to the main domain of my website, it wants to forward to the checkout page. So for instance, when I go to blackhillsbirthnetwork.org it tries to go to blackhillsbirthnetwork.org/checkout/

This is happening on multiple computers and multiple browsers for multiple users. I have excluded the cart, and the check out from cache, I have made sure to clear my browser cache and the site cache. Sometimes it seems when I clear my browsers cache that then I can go to the main domain of my website and it will load the front page but soon after it will try to redirect to the checkout page.

Has anyone seen this before? I don’t have any other woo commerce plug-ins. Maybe this is something really strange with caching? Host is siteground. They don’t know what the issue is.

You could try temporarily removing your .htaccess file and test. WordPress will make a fresh one from scratch.

I tried that just now and unfortunately that did not work.

Did you try temporarily changing your theme to be able to rule out a theme problem.

Yes I did. Disabling all plugins, except Woo, also doesn’t help.

Thanks for reaching out! While investigating the redirection from blackhillsbirthnetwork.org to blackhillsbirthnetwork.org/checkout/, I was not able to reproduce the issue, as shown here. To clarify, were you able to change any settings and resolve this already?

After a week straight of messing with this issue, which really made the site inaccessible for all visitors, I decided to delete Woocommerce altogether yesterday. That solved the issue ??
