Domain redirect failing after 4.1.2 update

After the last update our url is no longer pointing to our site folder. We have an old site hosted on our public_html and the newsite is in a new folder. It has been working wonderful until this patch.

The newsite was uploaded and set up by the developers so I don’t know where this information is I need to update. Sadly they are not willing to help me since this was a problem created outside of their scope of work. Godaddy was very little help so I’m hoping someone here can point me in the right direction!

The setting page in our new wordpress site still shows set up correctly I’m “assuming” it has to do with the index and/or htaccess files which unfortunately confuse and worry me! I don’t want to make things worse by doing the wrong thing!
