Domain name problem

  • Hello,
    I’m having a domain name problem with a WordPress 3 installation. In the past I’ve installed WordPress and developed the site on our host’s cPanel accounts. The domain would be https://hostservername/~domain. After changing the name servers to point the domain to the host, it would then of course be https://domain.com. Then I would go into the general settings and change the settings for the url and everything would be fine.
    On this particular install I did all that, but the url in the browser still shows https://hostservername/~domain. I noticed that in the database there is a field called “_transient_random_seed” that the other wordpress intalls don’t have. So what exactly is _transient_random_seed and could it have anything to do with this problem?
