Domain Mapping & URL of Subdomain

Just to clarify, where did you install WordPress – at root https://example.com or in subdomain as in https://wordpress.example.com/?

WordPress is installed in the root. All the subdomain functions are working fine. Would just like the parked domain to use its own url instead of the subdomain’s.

1. Make sure you have a dedicated IP address
2. Did you follow step 3 and step 4 in the link I pointed to?
3. Did you point new domain name DNS to root/IP address?
4. After that, did you go to the backend of the subdomain site you want the new domain to point to and used Tools > Domain Mapping put in a new domain and set it as the primary?

Hey Fantastic and many thanks. Some how I missed that last little step using the WordPress documentation setting it as the primary.
