Domain Mapping Question
-
I recently converted my Google Blog account to WordPress. In doing this, I now have two instances of my blog out…here are the links:
actionfigurecustoms.wordpress.com
actionfigurecustoms.com/blogsHere is the issue…the actionfigurecustoms.wordpress.com gets 90% of traffic to it via Google Image Search whereas the domain I want people to land on (actionfigurecustoms.com/blogs) gets 10%.
Will domain mapping fix my issue of getting people to the actionfigurecustoms.com/blogs site when they are clicking on images that are tagged with the actionfigurecustoms.wordpress.com address?
A related question…if I turn search engine crawling off on the actionfigurecustoms.wordpress.com instance, will the other domain eventually get indexed instead?
