Domain Mapping Instructions with 3.6

For each subsite, go to Edit -> Settings and change Siteurl to the mapped domain.

The point of the DM plugin is to allow you to map a domain to the site without editing the site (specifically the URL options).

Using 3.6 and sites in subdirectories, the mapping did not work until I changed the Siteurl.

Is it possible something else about my host configuration is causing the problem? My host is asmallorange.com, and I have additional domains as addon domains using cPanel. I installed WordPress with multisite enabled using Softaculous.

Yes.

It would really help if we could get some more clarity with some examples for each of the configurations and settings with a more updated tutorial/ instructions.

E.g. My WP MS Install:
Main Site: d1.org
Site 2: d-1.org
Site 3: d-1.com
Site 4: ax.com
Site 5: ay.com

How will each of the settings affect aspects of these sites and domains?

I understand the instructions in an abstract way but some examples with variations would help understand those settings better.

doublerebel – I am also using asmallorange ASO and I was wondering if you were able to move forward and resolve your situation. If so, how have you done things.
