Domain mapping for media URLs

  • Hi

    Is there a way to make media URLs domain mapped? Whilst I have domain mapping working happily for everything else, uploaded images etc just point to my network server.

    I can’t see any reason for this anywhere but I may be missing something. Anyone have any advice? thanks

    All your new images should work fine. You’ll want to search/replace the old paths for the new domain on wp_x_posts (where x is the site number of the mapped site)

    Unfortunately the new images simply don’t map at all – they resolutely remain on the network server.

    I have just come across the “WP Original Media Path” which I’ve installed and does solve the problem for me, but it does seem that there should be another way to make this work.
