Domain help

  • Hello. A client of mine bought a domain through Google Domains and it is current (renewed for another year in April). She originally was going to build her site on WordPress.com, but then contacted me and I installed WordPress and have it hosted through Bluehost. She got a message from WordPress.com saying that her “domain connection” was going to expire on August 13th and she needed to renew it for $13. I’m thinking she can ignore this? The site is not connected to WordPress.com in any way anymore.

    Can anyone clarify this for me?
