I installed plugin, copied SUNRISE to wp-content and added SUNRISE “on” to config. Thats ok.
I add domain and route to desired site in multisite. Nothing happens. My domain shows just it is empty, no files in it, no wordpress at all and does not take my wp files to show site on multisite.
yancce.com/prueba is the test site in multisite that should redirect to primary asesorglobal.net.
I check in cpanel files and I see that this addon domain has its own folder and has nothing in it. Thats all.
    What am I doing wrong?

  • Your ‘asesorglobal dot net’ domain is pointed at its own directory instead of the directory used by WordPress…

You need to adjust the directory for your second domain and any other domains or subdomains to point to the directory WordPress uses… the right domain is probably ‘public_html’ or something like that. That will need to be done in cPanel… until the domain shows up for WordPress to see, it won’t work properly.

Your web host might be able to help you with that also.

I recently helped another user with the exact same problem… The OP there kept mentioning an ‘alias’ option in his site editor which doesn’t exist in ‘real-life’. That person wasn’t aware of any added plugin but we suspected there was a plugin added that maybe they weren’t aware of.

Reading over what you said, and the info in this plugin, makes me think the plugin you are using (or one like it) is what was giving him that ‘alias’ option.

Actually, domain mapping is done natively with the recent WordPress multisites. You probably don’t need Sunrise.php or the plugin anymore.

    Thankyou so much, problem solved!
I pointed domain and works great. I will take your advice if I see that the plugin is not an advantage I will continue with new wp alias option.
