Domain for canonical urls get overwritten

    Have you tried disabling WPML to check whether the canonical is still overwritten with WPML active on the site? There is an active issue report related to Yoast not using the correct form of the canonical here: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/7059 Can you please confirm whether this is the same behavior you are experiencing? If so, we would recommend updating the active issue report with the details of your issue.

    Hello, Yes it is WPML that overwrites the main domain name, is there a way to solve that or i have to contact WPML?
