Domain does not point to WordPress directory

Hi,

My domain is darylthetford.com but when you visit darylthetford.com it automatically redirects me to https://darylthetford.com/darylthetford.com/HOME.html

I built a new wordpress site within a subdirectory which is now in the root folder. How can I point the domain to just Darylthetford.com so I can use the new wordpress site as the main site?
