• Hi,
We have a network of multisites and the domain mapping has worked fine for all of them (so far). However 2 of the sites are not mapping correctly. You can only access them through www. if not it will display the error page. I went through the guide that a previous IT guy left us and thought that the problem was how I had mapped them. So I deleted the mapping on the one site and was going to add it without the www. as it wouldn’t let me add it as the domain name already exists. So it’s deleted. I tried putting it in again and it is still saying this.
If we go to the site with the www at the beginning, content is there but not the correct content (if that makes sense).
I don’t want to uninstall and reinstall the plugin as the other sites rank quite well and I don’t want to do anything to jepardise that.
Any ideas on how I can get it to work so they can either go to https://www.site.co.uk or site.co.uk.
    Any help is much appreciated.

If you deleted a site without deleting any mapped domains it had those records are still in the database.

You can delete them from the wp_domain_mapping table.

Thank you for responding. We didn’t delete the site just the mapping. And how do I get to the mapping table?

    Thank you again

    The table name is wp_domain_mapping.

Thank you, but how do we get to the table?

That depends on your hosting control panel (of which there are hundreds of variations). Contact your hosting support.
