My website is in Dutch, but my wordpress admin environment is set to English. Dokan uses the website language and not my specified preferred user language.

When I set my WordPress language to English, Dokan should use English as well. ??

  • Hello @enicon ,

Are you using a separate plugin to define user language?

Dokan will use the set language for your website by default. If you are using a separate plugin to define the different languages for the frontend, that might not work properly with Dokan.

    Thank you ??

Nope, I’m just using the default WordPress settings for the language:
    – I’ve set site language to Dutch in general settings
    – I’ve set my WordPress admin language (the backend) to English in user settings.

Now Dokan uses the site language (Dutch) in the backend, while it should use English. As specified by my user setting…

    Hello @enicon ,

Dokan will only use the language set for the site. User-based language settings will not work for Dokan here.

If you want to allow multi-language support for Dokan you have to either use WPML or Weglot.

    Thank you ??
