    Hello,

I’ve noticed that if I don’t use “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders” your plugin doesn’t work correctly. Indeed the media is not anymore in library after post deletion but the file (and the thumbnails) is still physically on the uploads folder.

Is there something you could do to remove totally the files from the folder?

    Thanks in advance!
    Tzvetan

  • Hey Tzvetan,

Thanks for the feedback! We are going to take a look and get back to you!

    Hye Tzvetan,

I’ve made some tests with custom uploads folder and turned off “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders”, but could not reproduce the issue. Could you please check your uploads folder permissions?

If they are okay please give us more details, how to reproduce, and fix the issue.

    Thank you in advance!

    Zdravei Ivan!

    Thank you for your reply.
Indeed, it works but not always. I found that wp_delete_attachment() can behave a strange way… Especially when using wp all import. I happens that the attachment is deleted in WP database, but not the file on the server. I cannot reproduce it all the time.
    Let’s say it’s ok.

    Thanks again for your help!
    Have a nice day,

Hey, Tzvetan, hope you are great today!

Thank you for your quick response! Unfortunately, our team was unable to reproduce this issue.
Our recommendation would be to record a video next time if possible, so we could see the exact steps and try to investigate and solve this.

    Thank you for your time!
