I updated to WP version 4.5 yesterday. On post pages, all my post content was suddenly shifted over so that it overlapped my sidebar. After deactivating all plugins then reactivating one by one, I found Twenty Eleven Theme Extensions to be the one causing the problem.
I came here and saw that the plugin hasn’t been updated in 2 years, which is a real shame because now I have no idea how to fix my site.
You can see the problem here https://www.topfloortreasures.com/cs4/ although if you can’t see it that’s because I’m tinkering still…

  • Hello Zoe,
I went to your site and could not see any overlapping anymore … have you solved this issue ?
Matter of fact, I have just posted this morning here and there to get a possible solution to this problem.
Can you be of any help to me ?
    Cheers.

    Hi Paloprisk,

Yes, that looks like the exact problem I was having. It took me hours to figure out how to fix it. I don’t use bbPress however, so if it’s related to that then I don’t know if this will work for you.

I disabled all plugins and found it was TwentyEleven Theme Extension plugin that seemed to be causing the problem. I activated all of the other plugins again and then had to reconnect JetPack. I then found this post on the main support forum and added the code as instructed to functions.php. Then I activated TwentyEleven plugin again and it was all fixed.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi,
    You’re wonderful … ***** !!!!
Thanks for the info, it definitely solved my problem as it also worked on bbPress.
    Have a good day.
