Hi there, we had Onesignal working well with WordPress Job Manager, but after last Onesignal update, it doesn′t work anymore.

Does anyone know to make it work back, so when companies publish their job offers at frontend, the push notifications are being sended?

    Thank you in advance.

  • Hello, we will take this into consideration as a feature request.

For now, you may want to implement this customization through our API directly: https://documentation.onesignal.com/reference/create-notification

You can contact [email protected] for faster assistance, our team will be happy to assist you more directly.

Hi @onesignal, thank customization doesn′t work either for sending our notifications when someone publishes job offers thru your plugin.

I got in touch with One Signal support thru email, and ….

First, a person answered me, to whom I answer their questions and I no longer heard from him.

A few days later, a new person answered me, who asked me the same questions again and again, I didn’t hear from her again.

Both left me stranded weeks ago, I didn’t hear from them anymore, they didn’t answer my questions, they only asked questions, which I answered and I didn’t hear any more.

This is why I came to the WordPress Forums, to ask, seeing that they support by email, it left me completely stranded.

I’m sorry to hear you had a hard time but this isn’t a feature we currently support. You would need to implement this using our API directly: https://documentation.onesignal.com/reference/create-notification

A user submits a post, you save it to your database and send an API request with the data you desire.

We will consider this as a feature for a future version of the plugin but for now, you may be better off hiring a developer from fiverr or upwork.

Hi @onesignal thanks for answering, but let me please underestand.

You have this options at your wordpress plugin:

    1. Automatically send a push notification when I publish a post from 3rd?party plugins (our config: Turned ON)
    2. Additional Custom Post Types for Automatic Notifications Created From Plugins: (our config: job_listing)

We have this config that worked fine for about 7 to 8 years ago and after plugin updates, it stopped working.

Now you say that those doesn′t work at all? And that we have to hire a developer doing that? And so, if both options do not work anymore at your plugin, why are they still there?

Thank you, we would like to receive an explanation, as they worked perfetly all this past years, weren′t changed at all from our side, but now you say that they do not work at your plugin.
