• I have been testing this plugin with WordPress 5.5 and no Delete button shows up anywhere on the site. Not in the WordPress backend anywhere either. I have tried adding the button shortcode to multiple pages and it does not work either. An update to be compatible with WordPress 5.5 would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there,

Just to confirm, are you logged in as an administrator or some other role?

This plugin doesn’t display a delete button for administrators. This is done to protect against locking yourself out of your site. To see the delete button, you’ll need to log in with an account that does not have the administrator role.

That’s it, when I logged in as a normal user I see the button. Thank you. In some of the screenshots it shows how to modify the look and feel through the plugin, but it looks like now the only way to modify the look and feel of the default setting is through CSS, is that correct? Also is it possible to restrict where it shows up? I’m using Yith WooCommerce My Account Page plugin and your plugin adds the button to the bottom of every one of the My Account related pages. I’d prefer it only be in one location.

The only way to modify the appearance is with CSS, so you’ll need to write your own custom styles.

By default, the delete button should only show up in one area – the profile page of the WordPress admin. You can display it elsewhere with shortcodes and template functions. Perhaps you’ve added one of these to your account templates?

It’s hard for me to say what could be going on. I tested on my end with latest versions of WordPress and WooCommerce, but I’m not seeing the issue. I’d try deactivating other plugins and switching over to a stock theme to see if that resolves it. If it does, switch back to your theme and reactivate your plugins one by one, checking the account page after each. That should help identify potential conflicts.
