Doesn’t Work with Storefront 2.2.4 and Child Theme Boutique 2.0.10

Currently it works with the storefront 2.2.4 theme active and not with any child theme. If you could try to activate the parent storefront 2.2.4 theme and if it works then we can say that there is an incompatibility with the child theme.

As mentioned in another post:

Had the same problem when using the Storefront HomePage Template.

But by removing this action in my functions.php:

remove_action( ‘storefront_homepage’, ‘storefront_homepage_header’ );

the header is now removed when using the Storefront HomePage Template

I can see that the plugin does not remove this action and therefore wont work when using the HomePage template.

Hope they implement it ??

If the issue still persist kindly contact your child theme author for assistance, it may be the cause of the child theme that is overriding the default titles of the storefront theme.

Is there any new version release after the update? I’m using version 1.2.3 which is the latest version in WP plugin repository.

Version 1.2.4 has been released to address the static homepage issue. Kindly update your plugin.
