    Sirawn,

    I just confirmed that this plugin is working as expected on Safari with a few sites that use Force Refresh. Can you send over the URL of your site so I can investigate further?

    Hi can I email you the URL. As the url is confidential.also can you tell me how this plugin works, what methods does it use to force a reload ?

    The html is being cached, it’s not the CSS or JavaScript and its Safari.

    How can I force reload the HTML from the server, the server cache has been flushed numerous times. But safari still loads an old verison. I cant tell customers to delete their cache.

    @sirwan,

    You can DM me the link on Twitter at @jordanleven. However, you might have a misunderstanding of what this plugin does. Just so we’re on the same page, this plugin is for requesting browsers that are currently visiting a website to refresh – not for servers to flush their cache. If you’re having issues with cacheing on something like NGinx or Varnish, that is seperate from what this plugin does and needs to be resolved serverside.

    In any case, if you DM me the URL on Twitter, I can head to the link you provided on Safari to confirm that the plugin is working properly.

    Hi,

    I know the NGINX & Varnish have nothing to do with this plugin. I’m just saying that I flushed cache on a server level. So I 100% know Safari should load the newest version of my code (of the website).

    Except even after using this plugin AND my manually flushing my server cache. Safari will still load a version of the website 2 weeks ago.

    Nevermind, this plugin doesn’t cache bust.

    Many thanks for communicating on Twitter and helping me out.

    I wish I can delete this thread.
