    Hello,

This plugin only seems to work if I have the “plain” option selected in the permalink common settings. The problem is that this makes my urls all look pretty ugly and SEO unfriendly.

If I choose the permalink common setting I want (post name), this plugin doesn’t work. When I scroll to the bottom of a page, I see the loading icon, but it only loads one more product, even if there are multiple pages of products.

Is it possible to use this plugin with permalink settings other than ‘plain’, so that I can have infinite scrolling, and SEO friendly links?

    Thanks!

    Hi @dnacannon,
    Yes it does.
Did you update the permalink settings for SEO on the Ajax load more settings?

Thanks for the response. I don’t see any permalink settings in the Ajax Load More Settings menu. I only see the following settings:

    Global Settings

    Container Type
    Container Classes
    Disable CSS
    Button Loading/Style
    Button Classes
    Ajax Security

    Admin Settings
    Dynamic Content
    Editor Button
    Error Notices

    Cheers.

Then the addon is not installed.

    Which add-on?

    Thanks

I thought issue was the URL generate from the Search Engine Optimization add-on, but I guess that’s not the case.

Plugin works with all permalink settings. There must be another error somewhere.

Oh crap, I forgot to post the link. Such a rookie.

Sorry, I dont see Ajax Load More on your site.

I see the CSS, but nothing else.

hmm, it’s definitely downloaded, installed, and activated. I even tried deactivating/reactivating just now, but I still see numbered page navigation at the bottom of the shop page, instead of infinite scrolling. Is there an “enable” or “on” button I’m missing somewhere?

    Cheers

So after visiting the plugin page, I see that I have to create a shortcode and put it on each page I want the plugin to work. I thought the plugin worked on all pages once enabled. My fault.

I’m pretty much a newbie when it comes to tinkering with template files. Could I trouble you for a quick rundown? In which template files should I put the shortcode if I want infinite scrolling on the main shop page as well as each category page? And where within these files should I put the code?

    Thanks!

You need to add the shortcode to your template. The plugin does not work by jus activating it.

Check out the Help section inside the plugin for detail on the steps.

    Thanks
