    Hi,

    I am sorry but you are trying to use GTM4WP in a wrong way.
    G-XXXXXX is a GA4 measurement ID that you can use on the Google Tag Manager UI after creating a GTM container and adding a GA4 tag.

    If you want to only add GA4 tracking to your site then this plugin is simply not the right choice for you. This plugin is still about Google Tag Manager however GTM-XXXXX IDs and G-XXXXXXX IDs are not interchangeable, they have different purpose.

    GA4 tags can be added within your GTM container.
