• Fails in many ways with Elementor and has entry bugs with plain WordPress. Regularly forces entry in “Text” mode for WYSYG mode instead of Visual. I am up to date with all parts of my site and am still getting regular PHP errors. Not good guys.

BTW how do I export the DATA not just the structure?

    Hey @billunderwood,

It looks like you may have combined a review with a support request here and it was posted as a review only. As a result, there was a delay in how soon we were able to get to this since it was outside of our normal support flow.

Can you expand on the issues you had with Elementor? I just spoke with the Elementor team in person while I was at WordCamp US last week and I agreed that their integration with Pods was working well. I also let them know about the Pods Pro Page Builder Toolkit add-on that I built which expands the integration with Elementor beyond what they had initially focused on. Both were working well since my last QA review of the functionality, so perhaps you’ve encountered something that we should take a look at. Or did you reach out to Elementor support already since that would be on their integration side?

On the Visual editor issue you described, is that something you’ve seen in the admin editor or on a frontend form? If it’s in the editor, is that the post editor? And if that’s the post editor, was that using the Classic Editor or the Block Editor when you had that happen?

On the PHP errors, are you on PHP 8.x? If so, we have fixes for all known 8.x issues in Pods 3.0 which is due out shortly.

You can export configs with Pods using Pods Admin > Components > Migrate Packages. If you want to export data, for post types you would do that through Tools > Export as WXR and then import that to your other site at Tools > Import (using the WordPress importer).

There are also some great plugins out there for data portability for exporting and importing between sites which handle custom fields better too.
