I’m sorry you weren’t able to get the plugin to work for you. It would have been nice if you could have posted a support thread before leaving a poor review. I try to help everyone who posts, even though the problem is almost always with your theme or with another plugin and not with Nav Menu Roles, which is due to a limitation with core WordPress and is explained in the FAQ.
The FAQ also provides three suggestions for trying to fix the issue, including 2 that don’t require any coding effort on your part. Specifically, you should try this toggle plugin. And the one method that requires coding also comes with a very in-depth explanation of the patching process.
Please try some of the workarounds in the FAQ and hopefully that will help you reconsider your review.
