Doesn’t work on mobile. Bad support.

    I tried to figure out an odd scrolling issue we were having with the video lightbox on mobile before leaving a review, but the support for this plugin was pretty dismissive so here I am.

    It works on screens larger than mobile/tablet, but we found an odd scrolling issue where the video lightbox add/allows infinite horizontal scrolling when ‘open’. We tested on several browsers and devices.

    I described the issue to the developer and sent gifs of the bug, but was continually told that he “can’t test because he has an android device, and the video doesn’t popup or play on it anyways.” I thought this was pretty dismissive and just bad problem-solving, not to mention he didn’t really care that his plugin didn’t even begin to work on his own device.

    If you don’t have time to offer support, I get it, make that known. If you just don’t care to address and look into problems within the community of your plugin, don’t offer support in the first place.

    Sorry to hear about your bad experience with this plugin and your bad experience with my support and effort as described in the following support thread.

    I did try to help you and I am willing to help you further but I only have one mobile phone and it does not work in my mobile phone.

    If you can offer suggestions to fix the issues you and I have brought to light, I’ll gladly change my review. I wasn’t getting any helpful suggestions from you for why it’s not working on Android (an entirely different problem) and what might be causing the original scrolling issue.

    Hi, the issue you mentioned in your support post is most probably related to your theme. For some reason your theme does not handle correctly the width of the video after it pops up in responsive mode.

    I have helped others with something similar to this which was related to a theme, but is not related to this plugin.
