Doesn't work on "Managed WordPress" sites

I was hoping that your plugin would prevent GoDaddy from updating the WP REST API plugin that we’ve had to patch for our site, but alas no. Whatever blocking mechanism you use does not prevent GoDaddy from updating any plugin.
The other problem is that the Notes feature doesn’t preserve newlines so I copy and paste nicely formatted notes on what we’ve changed and it is turned into one long sentence.
