• It kept on complaining about my twitter username being not registered. When I checked the code within function widget, the variable $instance is only an empty array Array(). Is this behavior correct?

I tried this on a local wordpress installation.

Hi lolski, I need more info in order to help you. $instance is a common placeholder for storing widget user options, almost every widget plugin uses it.

Have you filled the four required Twitter API (Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, Access Token and Access Token Secret) strings? Are the tweets of your Twitter account public? What is the exact error string?

It works very well for me in localhost.
