Doesn’t work on image widgets?

    Hi there,

    I have this plugin active and working on images in the body of a post, among other places. I’m really grateful for this functionality. However, it doesn’t appear to work with widgets of the Image type. Is this how it’s intended to be? Can it be made to work with Image widgets, or is that impossible for code reasons?

    (I understand I can use Text widgets containing images as a workaround, but that seems like a rather hacky solution.)

    Hi @fox-lee,

    unfortunately, that is not possible at the moment, because the image widget does not provide a filter that the plugin could use to modify the markup. As soon as this is possible, I will add support for that ??

    Hi Florian,

    I was afraid it would be something like that. No worries, I’ll just have to stick with “custom HTML” widgets until WordPress does better at this. Thank you for taking the time to respond ??
