• I run a multisite WP install. I’ve been using Quick Cache on another multisite install for some time and it works perfectly on that one.

This new multisite WP install is configured very similarly to the previous one (same plugins, etc). But nothing Quick Cache related appear at the bottom of the Source view.
    For info:
    – Quick Cache is enabled (on both network admin and main site admin)
    – I’m not logged in when verifying the view source
    – I clear my browser cache before verigying (I even just tried right after switching on my computer)

    Help would be appreciated…

  • I think I’ve the same problem…

    Curious:

    1. Do you see a /wp-content/advanced-cache.php file?
    2. Is your /cache directory empty? Are you logged out of your site when you visit the pages (logged in users dont get served cached files by default)

Could be plugin conflicts. I remember having a similar issue and i had to disable both plugins then enable the other (not quick cache), manually delete the advanced-cache.php file, and enable qc to get it working.

Btw, i assume you arent running another caching tool.

Thanks for responding, Kellog ?? I think you’re leading me on the right track…
In fact I first installed Hyper Cache (had forgotten about it not working on multisite install). Then I uninstalled it and installed Quick Cache instead.

Obviously, Hyper Cache didn’t uninstall properly. I just checked after reading your reply and found a Hyper Cache folder in my cach directory.
And to answer to you, yes, I have a /wp-content/advanced-cache.php file

So I tried to follow your advices:
    – I just deleted the remaining Hyper Cache folder from my cach directory
    – I disabled Quick Cache (I even desactivated the plugin) and deleted the /wp-content/advanced-cache.php file
    – Then I reactivated Quick Cache and enabled it
    – Then I logged out from my site and cleared my browser cache (I even closed then restarted my browser).
When viewing the source of my site, obviously, Quick Cache is still not working.

The only difference from what you described is that I didn’t enabled the other cache plugin (Hyper cache in my case) before deleting the advanced-cache.php, since it was not even in my plugin list anymore.
Should I do that ? I mean, should I desactivate Quick Cache and reinstall Hyper Cache in order to properly delete (?) the advanced-cache.php ???

I hope you’ll stick with me, Kellog ??

AAAAAAAAAAH! You don’t need to read my previous post, Kellog!!!

I just had the idea to clear my browser history and cookies and YESSSS! Quick Cache is now working (green cache related line at the bottom of the source view).

Thank you so much for your help, Kellog ??
