Doesn't work on Internet Explorer 8

    It just came to my attention that the video interface does’t show in Internet Explorer 8 with the WordPress default player, and IE8 is the last version that will run on Windows XP.

    Webpage error details:

    Apparently IE 8 doesn’t support addEventListener. I have no way to test IE 8 and I resent having to support it, but it shouldn’t be too hard to fix. I have opened an issue on Github to track it. https://github.com/kylegilman/video-embed-thumbnail-generator/issues/85

    In the future can you post your issues on Github? It’s much easier to keep track of than this forum.

    Thank you. I will do that next time.

    I hope this is possible to fix. As a workaround I also tried video.js – problems with auto loop, and with Strobe Media Playback there is another problem with autoplay-auto loop – black screen between the last and the first frame.

    The IE 8 problem should be fixed in version 4.3 which was just released.
