    Hi fotogaaf,

    Allow me to respond:)

I can see that the page you linked is timestamped successfully on the blockchain, that you are able to download the blockchain certificate via my.wordproof.com, and that your visitors can view how your content changed over time. So far, everything seems fine to me.

I also see that you use a plugin that adds dynamic content via PHP to your posts and pages, but it does so by adding a shortcode to your content in the wp_posts table of your WordPress-website. WordProof uses the content in the wp_posts table to timestamp your content because this is the only way you can proof that you published the content at a certain moment in time, and the only way your visitors can safely verify when content was modified. Dynamic content would break both these powers, since the content would change after the timestamp.

I recommend you to add the content dynamically to your template, outside of the wp_posts table. This way, you keep your database cleaner and your content easier to read.

Let me know if you have additional questions!:)

    Kind regards,

    Jelle from WordProof

But YOU promise: Let your visitors verify when and how your content changed

BTW: what you recommend is…..in order for YOUR plugin to work we as customer must change the way we work ??!!!

    That’s a bit silly

To bad, but thanks for the reply

I’m sorry you feel that way! You don’t have to change the way you work, but if you want to use WordProof Timestamp to timestamp content on the blockchain, you cannot use dynamic content via PHP injections (since this renders the timestamps invalid…)

I hope you find other software which better suits your needs.

    Kind regards,
