• Didn’t work for me. It may also be due to additional plugins that are installed.
Are problems with the speed optimization plugin Autoptimize?
And is there a possibility to include Google Fonts that are not embedded via the wp_enqueue_style handler? Maybe with a regular expression ??

    Hi There!

Thanks for your feedback. We run it alongside with Autoptimize as well and there are no known issues.

I’m not able to test a premium theme but if they don’t include Google Fonts the “WordPress way” LGF is not able to recognize them.

Please check with your theme developer for assistance.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the fast response.
That’s what I thought too and I contacted the developers directly.
Is there a possibility to include a feature to catch other methods of embedding Google Fonts and host them locally on the server?

This would be possible but would be resource intensive to check all included CSS files for links to Google servers and replace them on the fly.

While this is technically possible it would be better to remove all links to google fonts and embed them manually later. This can also improve the performance of your site.

    Best Regards

    that sounds even better.
