Doesn’t work for child themes

  • Spent hours debugging what was wrong with my child theme. Turns out, this plugin doesn’t load it at all. So in the end I had to disabled this plugin and change theme directly on production… which was not what I wanted to do, but had to.

    Theme Switcha works great with all themes, including parent themes AND child themes. Here is a video that shows how easy it is to switch to parent/child themes.

    So if you are not able to switch to a child theme or whatever on your particular setup, there must be some interference from somewhere (could be another plugin, theme, etc.).

    Again for anyone else reading: Theme Switcha works GREAT with Child Themes and Parent Themes. Check out the video linked above to see it in action.
