Doesn’t work despite my Customizr theme

We’ve just tested the plugin against the Customizr theme and it definitely works.

We’ve then taken a look at your website and your footer looks completely different to that of the un-modified Customizr theme. Have you modified your theme files? Are you using a plugin to change your footer? In either situation you will be making the theme incompatible with our plugin, sorry!

Please confirm if you know what has been done to your website in order to change the footer from the default footer which you can find here.

My theme has never been modified (besides I don’t know how to do it :D), the footer either, everything is original.
I use Customizr Version: 4.4.21 which is up to date.

Are you using Customizr Pro theme or Nimble Builder plugin?

No it’s not the pro version, it’s the classic version…

This is the only information I have… but I never modified this theme, just added extensions to customize my site…

No I don’t use this plugin, and don’t know it…

All my plugins are “visible” on the site (like Photo Gallery, or WPform, etc…), and those working in the background are:

Yoast SEO
Akismet Anti-spam: Spam Protection
UpdraftPlus

Remove “Powered by WordPress”s

OK, we’ve found why your site is showing the footer in a different way to when you install the theme. You have set the “Customizer – Advanced Options – Theme Style” to “Classical”. This sets a completely different footer and I will update the plugin accordingly.

I’ve just pushed version 1.5.9 which should allow you to enable the option to remove “Powered by WordPress” by going to “Customizer – Theme Options” when the plugin has been updated and is active and you are using the “Classical” theme style.

Please confirm this works for you.

Hmm, well, if you want to have your site remove that too then you can do this …

1. Install and activate Code Snippets plugin
2. Go to “Dashboard – Snippets – Add New”
3. Give your snippet a title
4. Paste this code into the code area …

Click “Save Changes and Activate”

Marking this as “resolved” now.
