• If you use this plugin for the majority of the screens, you probably won’t have an issue. If you do then this plugin won’t work for you.

So what do you do when something doesn’t work? You ask for support. The first time Ani responded with a video that on their end with my site provided everything works. Also at my workplace everything worked. So I did the footwork and tested on differnet screensizes and devices until I got what was the problem.

    Do this to reproduce:

    – Open your browser and page where the plugin should trigger a popup.
    – maximize your screen, zoom out to about 50% or more (if your resolution is below 3000px.
    – Reload page, does the popup show in the right proportions?

So I did some testing and asked the support with that information to investigate. In the meantime I deactivated their plugin and bought another one that worked right out the box. Why? Because my customer didn’t want to wait.

Well, Ani responded to my mail with “hey, ask this other companies support, this is not our plugin”.

So what the actual f*ck is happening here? I give my testresults to him/her and this is what I get?

I want my money back. Being in contact with support on the SAME ticket and responding with kind of “hey, he bought another plugin… puuh problem solved itself, let’s watch tv again”.

Nah, not happening. Solve the problem or give me my money back.

  • Dear @sept0,

We’re really sorry to see such a bad review on our plugin.
Two developers have viewed your issue and when we first viewed, we didn’t see any problem with our popup (it was there then).
We asked you to specify the browser, device, etc. to reproduce the issue on our side.
Then, after you provided some details, another developer of ours checked your site and didn’t see our popup there (the popup of the popup-press plugin was there).
That’s why we told you to contact popup-press developers to solve the problem connected to their popup. So, eventually, there was a little confusion.
Maybe we were wrong in some way, asking you to contact popup-press developers to solve that issue with their popup on your side.
Sorry if we hurt your feelings anyhow. This wouldn’t get so complicated if you told us that you have switched the plugin. ??

So, we just tested a video popup on our side, zooming the screen for 50%, as we don’t have any 3000px screens in our office.
We didn’t see any problems with the popup operation, it opened up correctly, and the video played (we shared a screenshot via ticket).

Could you, please, provide more details about what you mean by saying “It doesn’t work”, so we can have a better research on this?

It would be great if you could add our popup again (maybe this is a specific issue related to other plugins on your site) on your site so we can re-check it live.

P.S. This is the Reviews section, and it would be better to continue the conversation privately. Please, proceed in the ticketing system so we can cooperate.
