    Maybe I should give a little more background.
    The plugin is activated and I can tell it is working since it inserts code on the page.
    here is a sample of the code linked to a page with the title “IP Video”. I selected the option to show featured image (yes the page does have a featured image.), Show Page Title, Show Page Content:

    <section id="genesis-widget-background-3" class="widget widget_background featuredpage">
    <div class="widget-wrap">
    <article class="image-section">
    <div class="hook-blank">
    <div class="wrap">
    IP Video
    <header class="entry-header">
    <h2 class="entry-title">
    <a title="IP Video" href="https://88f.ea3.mwp.accessdomain.com/solutions/ip-video/">IP Video</a>
    </h2>
    </header>
    </div>
    </div>
    </article>
    </div>
    </section>

    Some futher refinement of the issue.
    Show Featured Image does not work
    Show Custom Image and Background Color does work.

    Show Page Title does not work, except when Show Page Content is also selected. That is, either both Title and Content are displayed or nothing at all.

    I can probably trick this out to work they way I was expecting by using CSS but it would be nice if it worked properly. Please let me know if you find anything.

    I’ve just tested the plugin with the Atmoshere theme and it seams to works fine.

    In the code you see a div with the class hook-blank. This means there is no feature image set on the selected page or the option No Image is selected. If the background is set you will see the class image-section and some inline css.

    I will have a look at the issue with the option show title. This is definitely a bug ??

    I double checked and I do have a featured image for the page. I even deleted it and added it back in again just to make sure. Also made sure that I had Show Featured Image checked. Is there someway I could have accidentally disable the use of featured images? I guess I could check with another theme to see if it works with that.
    Any chance you may have an update to the plugin soon that fixes the Page Title issue? Thank you for your help with this.

    I thought it might help to see the actual page I am working with. Check out https://88f.ea3.mwp.accessdomain.com.
    Note the row of boxes half way down the page. The first two boxes use this widget. The first one uses a Custom Image; the second one uses a Featured Image, which is displaying as blank. The other boxes here use Genesis Featured Page widget. Note that the featured images are working here, even the one for IP Video which is not working with the Background Widget.

    Thanks for taking the time to look into this. I really appreciate it!

    Hi Tom,

    Thanks for the detailed information, I appreciate it.

    I just released a new version of the plugin. Can you download and install this latest version? I’ve made some changes, Show Featured Image will work now in all situations. Show hide Page title will work now as well.

    If you have the time could you please leave a positive review?

    With Regards,

    Frank

    Frank, I did upload the new plugin. The issue with Featured Images is now working. Thank you!

    The other issue with the Page Title has changed but I am not clear what your intention is how this is to be used.

    I can now select Page Title and it will display without needing Page Content selected as well.

    The Widget Title will always show up regardless of what options are selected. Since I have given the widget the same title as the page, this can look quite redundant. I guess my option is just to have no Widget Title though this makes it a little harder to organize the widgets.
    Ideally, I would like the option to display (or not display) the widget title. And to link the widget title to the page in question. The reason why this is preferable is that I might want to use a different title than the page title, if, for example, I need a shorter title that fits in the box.
    Anyway, I can work with this and thanks for your help.

    Good to hear it works!

    You can toggle the page title with the option show page title. If you don’t want to show the widget title you indeed have to leave this empty.
