I paid for premium to get auto-posting so I can save time on posting to each social media platform individually, but the app still doesn’t work as expected and I still spend more time than needed finagling with the plugin to get it to work how I want. Even though the app says you can autopost from other plugins, it doesn’t (I use Postie and Jetpack mobile app) unless you login to the WordPress site itself and hit “Save” on the post. What’s the point? It doesn’t autopost to Facebook Profiles, all it does is open a new window to facebook.com for you to copy and paste the text of your post yourself. Sometimes I get an error when autoposting to Instagram and the post doesn’t get posted. You can create templates to organize how you want the post to display on the other platforms, but it doesn’t carry over for example on Facebook, Tumblr and Medium.

There’s just all kinds of bugs with this plugin, so your mileage may vary. I’m giving it 2 stars because it does autopost more consistently if you’re posting directly from your WordPress desktop site, but it fails hard when trying to use mobile with Postie or Jetpack and it’s 100% fail with Facebook Profiles. Also it fails at being able to post to specific networks per post, unless you pay more by upgrading to Pro (I currently have Premium Smart because this is just a personal site and a Pro account will be overkill) to get Network Collections. Foh. Not worth it.

We are sorry to hear your feedback @puffidredz and we are sad that you did not contact us before leaving a 2-star-rating. We’re sure we would have been able to clarify this.

    Regarding Facebook profiles:
Please be aware that Facebook has restricted access to Personal Facebook profiles for all social media tools to keep communication on a personal basis. This is why we introduced Instant Sharing to make it possible to still share on Profiles and also in personal stories. This tutorial guides you through this process:
How to share on Facebook Profiles and Groups with Instant Sharing

You can see all of your scheduled posts for your Facebook profile when clicking on “Instant Sharing”. Here you can click on “Share” to publish it on your profile.

    Please note:
When scheduling posts for Facebook pages or other social media networks, your content will be shared automatically at your preconfigured date and time.

    Regarding the auto-poster:
There are two different sets of settings in the auto-poster.
The first auto-poster is triggered when clicking on “Publish” / “Schedule” in your WordPress backend post editor.
How do I auto-post and auto-schedule my own blog posts on social media?

The auto-poster for imported posts is triggered via the WordPress hook “transition_post_status” when your posts are created by other plugins or RSS feeds.
How do I auto-post imported or created blog posts from other plugins on Social Media?

As far as I understand, you have only tried the auto-poster for your own posts. Since you mentioned that you use other plugins to create your posts, I would suggest using the auto-poster for imported posts. Additionally, the guide linked above includes a list of examples of compatible plugins.

If you have further questions, it would be great if you could contact our support team since WordPress does not allow support in this review area. We will be happy to help you.
