I have had to disable this plugin because after the last two updates it has broken the Divi Builder not allowing it to load on pages anymore. I use the Divi Theme and its builder to build my site.

I am sure thousands of others don’t realize it but they can no longer use the “CLASSIC EDITOR” with Divi Theme and also use your plugin Yoast SEO.

Please FIX THIS ISSUE as it effects many users. I am just giving you a heads up.

  • @kimberlyohlson perhaps you can supply more information, such as browser console messages and/or error log messages.

Also, describe exactly what you do and what you see.

I’ve tested Divi 4.0.7 with Yoast SEO 12.6.2 and I don’t have this problem.

There is no error log or message. When I activate the Yoast plugin and then go to edit a page, the builder no longer loads. I don’t get a timeout, I get the page with no method to edit any of the content. I am using the Divi Classic Editor and not the new visual editor.

I also use the Divi Content Extended plugin and for some reason I can’t have both of them activated and use the Divi builder. I can have one at a time activated and use the editor.

Before you navigate to the page, open your browser’s console (F12 in Chrome, IE and Edge on Windows), then look at what comes up when the editor page loads.

Also, the error may be in wp-admin/error_log, because that’s a back-end page.

Finally, make sure you have a full installation of Yoast SEO. Deactivate the plugin, use FTP to remove its entire directory, and then install it again from WordPress’ Plugins > Add New.

If you’ve updated Divi recently, you may also want to make sure it too is installed completely.

We understand there is an issue with the plugin: Divi Content Extended and Yoast SEO v12.6.2 that when both are active it prevents the loading of Divi on your posts/pages.

We released a new version v12.7. Divi has a new version as well, v4.0.8 as described here https://divinotes.com/divi-changelog/.

If you update those plugins and also any other ones does the issue still happen?

If so, based on the information you provided, we expect this to be an issue. We’re actively using the issue tracking on our GitHub repository so your best next step would be to create a new issue for our developers at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new. You will need an account to create a new issue. If this is your first bug report, please check out: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-write-a-good-bug-report/.

    Closed. No further questions.
