• Product doesn’t work – massive error messages and blow-ups.

Company is non-responsive to the issue – tries to brush-off the customer.

This is clunkware. Do NOT buy.

  • It is working fine actually here is the sample of a WP e-Commerce site
    https://ihayag.com/maupay/wpec-add-on/
    https://ihayag.com/maupay/page-style/bluemod/

Simply WPEC is not compatible with the most theme and most the theme are the child theme of thematic and other theme tools expect that this will not going to work out of the box and it needs some tender loving work

To the OP – WPEC is free – so saying ‘Do NOT buy.’ is unnecessary. There are tens of thousands of functional shops running this software. Almost always a problem with a poorly coded theme.

    Here is another example: https://tokokoo.com/getshopped/

That is a nice new theme made specifically for the WP e-Commerce Plugin.

To say it doesnt work is crazy.

The support team does an awesome job with the resources that they have. The new site was a pain point but we hope that the new Premium Support Plugin we’re releasing will further make the WP community love us like we love it – of course its what we’re using on our own new site. Should be ready next week ??

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with WP E-commerce.

Is your complaint that you would like to resolve this issue or that the company is unresponsive?

If it is that you would like to troubleshoot your issue, I believe JustinSainton probable nailed it, try switching themes for a moment to see if the plugin works in the default theme. If it works, then you will need to address your theme. Which is possible to do, even for beginners.

If your issue is that the company “don’t care”, I am not sure what to tell you. I am pretty sure they do care as many people have many working shops. Good luck.

Dear itshouldjustwork. Sorry. You get what you pay for… oh wait.

I agree. You totally do get what you pay for.

Here are some nice examples of websites that use the WP e-Commerce Plugin:

    https://rockyourcause.com/shop
    https://www.sugardolls.co.uk/
    https://luffshop.com/

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work out of the box. I have a clean wordpress site, with nothing else installed, and it doesn’t work. I have tried activating it with the 2010 and 2011 themes, but nothing, the admin portion goes whitescreen.

So at least there should be some kind of response to people saying it doesn’t work, to try and find out what the problem is.
