Hook after_download doesn't work

Can you please tell me details how would you like to implement after_download hook?

For redirect to current page after download. Also not working example from: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/action-reference/after_download/

You can use after_download action hook for such purchase, the hook triggers after file download completed successfully and at the end it simply will terminate the execution. Any type of redirection or extra output may interrupt download process.
