Doesn’t work

Having the same issue, are you also using the shortcode [toc] to insert the table of contents on the place you want?

It seems all of a sudden the shortcode doesn’t work anymore on any of my pages where it is inserted.

All of a sudden, it stopped working. The shortcode is still in the blog posts as before.

It also stopped working on my sites (I suspect since I updated it on February 13, but I can’t say for sure).

It has disappeared both on pages/posts with shortcode and when automatically insertered.

I solved the issue:

• Go to TOC settings and scroll down to “Advanced” settings
• under Heading levels, the update by default unchecked all. You check h2, h3, h4

Now looks like it’s working for me.

After going through all the settings regarding plugin loads, cache, etc, I feel really silly for not going through the most obvious ??</img>

@samopp Did you clear the web and browser cache after modifying the settings? Or do you have object cache on the server? Sometimes caches play tricks on us.

I had to revert back to the old version.

I had the same issue. The plugin stopped working after an update. But it looks like the reason is that the settings got wiped. I went to Settings > Advanced > reselected the “Heading levels” and clicked “Update Options. This fixed it.
