• The honeypot functionality didn’t stop any spam for me.

This plugin can only stop messages in which the spammer manually types something identical to what you specified as forbidden in the settings for each field of your form (which is of course very unprobable to happen). If you want to block messages containing keywords instead of whole phrases (what the developers call “advanced filtering”), you will have to go for the pro version.

  • Hi @jortegac,

We have tested the latest version again and it works fine with different installations. Can you please share the screenshot of the error and the debug log in your site.

Also, please confirm the WordPress version and Contact Form 7 plugin’s version that you’re using.

For privacy concerns, I suggest you to share these details at our support email:: [email protected]

I will be happy to help you out.

WP an CF7 versions are 5.1.1

The relevant error seems to be this one:

[31-Mar-2019 04:26:09 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tgmpa() (previously declared in /home/colegi44/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cf7-manual-spam-blocker/libs/thetgm/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php:2126) in /home/colegi44/public_html/wp-content/themes/health-insurance/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php on line 2161

So it must be a conflict with the theme.

I installed and activated in a clean WP, but I still can’t test the plugin as the option I am interested in (“text contains” or “email contains” or “textarea contains” in my contact forms) is disabled. Is that a PRO feature?

Yes, it is due to the wrong initialization of the TGMPA class in your theme. Yes, the “Contains” feature is only in the PRO version.

I would like you to change your review as it is not appropriate. The conflict is due to the theme.
