    WordPress 4.9.7
    Woocommerce 3.4.3

I installed your plugin and attempted to export products, selected a few fields, filtered by 1 category (Uncategorized) and clicked the Export Products button.

I was immediately taken to a blank screen and nothing happened.

I hit my back button and I get the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function woo_cd_admin_notice_html() in /home/proline/public_html/__production/website/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-exporter/includes/functions.php on line 374

If I go to the Dashboard and back to your plugin I continue to get the same error until I delete the plugin. If I re-install it I can go back to the Store Exporter options but if I try again the same thing happens.

  • Hi @allennichelabs, thanks for raising this. I made significant changes in the last major Plugin release so will look at this immediately.

I’ve pushed a minor Plugin update which should resolve this, let me know if this persists ??

I updated the plugin and tried again.
I was still redirected to a blank page but this time when I hit the back button I get “It looks like an export is currently running in the background. Unfortunately we cannot tell if the background export has completed just that it hasn’t yet finished. If you are confident there are no background exports running click Dismiss to hide this notice. (Need help?)”

So does this mean it is running in the background? How can I see the progress of the export?

Hi @allennichelabs, that blank screen sounds like a PHP timeout limitation set by your hosting server. Use the Limit Volume and Volume Offset options on the Quick Export screen to reduce the size of your export or contact your hosting provider to increase that timeout limitation.

    Here’s a resource to help:

    https://www.visser.com.au/documentation/store-exporter-deluxe/troubleshooting/#blank-screen-or-500-internal-server-error-at-export

If you have Enable Archives turned on from the Settings screen then the export may be saved to the Archives even if the blank screen is displayed.

Ok I set the limit to 200 (I have about 10,000 products) Set the filter to categories, selected Uncategorized and ran the export.

I got an export file of the 1st 200 products. What I need it to export all the products for a specific category, is this possible with this plugin? The description shows “Export Products by Product Category/Tag”. Am I misunderstanding how this works?

Agreed. The export by category doesn’t appear to be working for us either (although it has in the past). There’s another support ticket open for this.

Hi @allennichelabs and @gordonium, I’m back from honeymoon and working on this directly, will include the resolution in an urgent Plugin release for both the free and Pro Plugin as soon as it’s ready.
