I exported an existing coupon, then created a file with 5 new ones as a test. Ensured that all IDs were unique etc

When I imported that file the system had to be cancelled in order to stop it continuously importing. It created over 1000 new coupons that had no coupon code and needed to be manually removed.

A quick check showed that I’d attempted to upload the xls file, not the CSV version – a simple mistake that could be addressed through some error handling in the plugin and the reason why I haven’t given 5 stars.

    Hi @kersti,

We apologize for the inconvenience caused. That seems like a really strange case. We did some test import in our dev/testing environments with different scenarios and were not able to replicate the issue. All imports were completed successfully.

Could you please share us the CSV via support so that we can check it.

Thanks for looking at it so fast – I was able to find my mistake, I imported the wrong file type. (That’s what happens when you’re working in a high stress environment). I’ve updated my review to reflect my mistake.
