    When I click Export Forums, the plugin just takes me to the front page of my website instead of exporting the bbpress forums. I’ve tried using wp export all pro suite of plugins, it gets messed up on forum heirarchy and ownership due to wordpress creating new user IDs and post IDs. It’s really frustrating not having a BBpress related plugin that can correctly migrate forums from one wordpress website to another.
    What’s the deal on why your plugin redirects to the front page?

    PS I’m trying to export a subsite’s BBpress forums from a wordpress multisite network.

    @levyimage:

    Please try by increasing PHP memory limit. This redirection may happen if a large amount of data is exporting and PHP memory limit is very low.

    Our plugin will import the forum by keeping the forum hierarchy ( with new ID but it will connect with proper child ).

    Regarding the user connection with the forum, if the user ID in the CSV is existed in importing website it will connect.

    Hope this helps!

    thanks but…
    Both sites will have different user IDs but matching names/emails due to how wordpress creates new content via these plugins. Same seems to go for post IDs as well concerning forums, topics, and replies. But I’m glad your plugin keeps track of the structure, because WP Import All does not, it’s been difficult finding a solution that doesn’t break the new multisite this is being imported into or just not work.

    As far as memory limit, this is on an AWS ec2 with a 512MB php memory limit. That is not low. Combined raw data for the BBPress forums is only 17MBs.

    EC2 is nginx with php-fpm

    The plugin checks the email id in CSV with the user emails in the database and connects with that user.

    Regarding the redirection issue, please check the error log if anything is logged there regarding this.

    Hi!

    I try to activate plugin on a multisite, but I can’t.
    No any error message, only nothing happened.
    Latest bbpress and budypress installed and active.
    WP is the latest version too.

    Any idea?

    @dave82-1,

    Ideally, following steps should resolve the issue,

    – Install Our bbPress import export plugin in the Network level (DONT Activate)
    – Activate Our bbPress Import Export plugin at the Individual site level.

    Let me know if the issue persists.
